🔍 Description and Characteristics
The Pharaoh Worm is a worm that impresses with its size and appearance.
It lives mainly on mixed seabeds, where sand meets rocks and seaweed.
What makes it unique is the explosive combination of characteristics:
Iridescence: Its body has the ability to iridise, changing colors like a rainbow as it moves, while at night it creates phosphorescent reflections that attract fish from afar.
Blood and Movement: It is full of blood and has a nervous, continuous movement that triggers hunting instincts.
Armor: Its skin is extremely tough, making it immune to attacks from small fish.
It lives mainly on mixed seabeds, where sand meets rocks and seaweed.

The Pharaoh Worm is a bait that allows us to target with precision.
The Baiting: Due to its great length (it can reach 2-3 meters!), we usually cut it into pieces according to our hook size.
We always start cutting from the tail towards the head, for to keep the rest of the worm alive.
Using a Needle: The use of a needle is essential to pass the piece onto the hook without losing its precious blood and to have a natural presentation.
Hooks: It requires strong, forged hooks capable of holding the large jaws that will attack it.

Large White Seabreams and Brown Meagres on rocks are the usual suspects.
Common Pandora and Gilthead Seabreams cannot resist its iridescence.
It is also an excellent bait for large Saddled Seabreams and Two-banded Seabreams.
