The Banded Dye-Murex is a gastropod with a hard shell that lives on rocks and mixed seabeds.
It is a bait we can easily fall into. A mask and a little swimming in the shallows are enough to fill our bucket.
Alternatively, we can ask professional fishermen for them when they are cleaning their nets, where they are often caught as "bycatch".
Its great advantage is durability. It stays alive for days if we hang it in a net in the sea.
